This position is within the Operations and Technology Early Careers Team which comprises talent acquisition and program management. The job holder will support the management of a specific group of Citi’s early career populations through managing well-executed programs. The role also includes involvement with global recruitment and development projects. Program managers have a close working relationship with the business aligned talent acquisition partners.
What you’ll do
Act as the HR point of contact for specifically assigned populations according to business area and geography.
Responsible for organizing and executing effective rotations and placements within the specific business areas to ensure that both individual development needs and business needs are met.
Close partnership with business stakeholders to innovate and improve programs.
Work with Early Career Learning team on execution of training programs.
Responsible for initiating, monitoring, and overseeing the performance management process for programparticipants.
Support the mid- and long-term career development of the early career populations by providing career coaching.
Work closely with HR Business Partners/Advisors to solve issues related to program populations.
Partner with HR Business Partners/Advisors and compensation teams to complete the year-end performance management and compensation process for program participants.
Ensure that all program participants and managers within specific business areas are fully trained and briefed on all aspects of the program life cycle.
Support talent acquisition team on international and global development project initiatives.
Create analyst mentoring schemes and development opportunities throughout the program.
Implement advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analyzing data requirements.
Understand the bank environment and compliance and regulatory requirements.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
What we’ll need from you
Early Careers or HR Generalist experience required
Understanding of the banking industry and culture an advantage.
Understanding of specific developmental needs of early careers populations.
Requires good analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.
Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.
Bachelor or Master degree/University degree or equivalent experience
