Job Summary

As ayou will help set the vision and deliver on 2.0 version of our Engineering Intelligence Platform. If you are passionate about solving problems that developer’s face, this role is for you. The role requires deep understanding of the modern SDLC practices and the pain points around them. The role requires leading diverse of teams that build out various parts of the platform such as real time data engineering, Machine Learning and Micro services at JPMC scale. This is a vital role with significant growth prospect. You will have work to do from day one and you will be counted on to create opportunities that aligns with the overall organizational goals.


Basic Qualifications

  • 15 years of experience in software engineering and management roles. At least 3 years of experience as Manager of Managers
  • Experience with Data Engineering, AI and Software Engineering concepts, technologies, and industry trends (Real time data processing, Data Mesh, data warehousing, machine learning, etc.).
  • Experience in leading the development and delivery of software systems in the cloud environment.
  • Experience in translating business vision into technological roadmaps and execution plans.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Familiarity with open source tools such as Trino, Openhouse, dbt etc.
  • Prior experience building out NLP and ML solutions
  • Well versed with pros and cons of various database technologies like Relational, NO SQL, MPP, Columnar databases.
  • Good internal understanding of coding in one of the languages Python/Java.
  • Experience fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate large engineering teams.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making data-driven decisions under uncertainty.
  • Track record of successful cross-functional leadership in complex matrixed organizations.
  • Success in setting strategic direction, influencing key stakeholders, and driving results.
