Job Description:

As a Sales Development Executive aligned to the Finance & Spend Management portfolio, you will be responsible for engaging with finance leaders and procurement decision-makers through digital channels. Your focus will be on building a pipeline of opportunities that solve business challenges related to financial planning, spend visibility, procurement optimization, and compliance.

You will work closely with Account Executives, Solution Advisors, and Partners to drive digital transformation initiatives that improve financial outcomes and operational efficiencies for our customers in the French market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and opportunities through targeted prospecting of Finance, Procurement, and CFO functions within organizations
  • Design prospecting strategies in alignment with the Finance & Spend Management Sales Team and Ecosystem Partners
  • Conduct proactive outbound outreach to drive interest in solutions such as ERP, spend management, procurement, expense control, and supplier management
  • Engage with CFOs, Finance Directors, and Procurement Leaders through multiple channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, webinars)
  • Meet and exceed sales development KPIs and demand generation targets specific to finance and procurement solutions
  • Be a key contributor in promoting SAP’s Intelligent Spend Management and Finance Transformation portfolio
  • Leverage best-in-class digital selling tools and methodologies to scale outreach and improve engagement
  • Support strategic initiatives and campaigns related to spend optimization, cash flow management, and compliance

Work Experience:

  • 2–5 years of B2B demand generation or software sales experience, preferably in Finance, ERP, Spend Management, or Procurement technology
  • Familiarity with the Spanish market dynamics, especially within finance departments or public/private procurement functions

Education, Skills & Competencies:

  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, IT, or Digital Transformation
  • Fluent in Spanish & English, both written and spoken
  • Keen interest in finance digitalization, procurement technology, and enterprise software solutions
  • Understanding of key finance and procurement challenges such as cost control, risk management, and spend visibility
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to act as a trusted advisor to finance leaders
  • Ability to listen actively and tailor messaging to resonate with customer pain points and strategic goals
  • Proactive, results-driven, and self-motivated with a growth mindset and learning agility
  • Collaborative team player with adaptability in a fast-paced digital selling environment
