  • Be a key player in the US international tax compliance workflow, including the preparation of U.S. international tax calculations and forms (e.g., Form 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8891, 8892, 8893) and disclosures as required
  • Spearhead the preparation of the quarterly and annual US international tax provision calculations (e.g., subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, FTC, expense A&A, etc.).
  • Drive automation initiatives with an ability to quickly bridge technical requirements, conceptualize and define workflows, and effectively communicate tax requirements to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Partner with our tax planning team on M&A integration and tax planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the organization and outside tax advisers as needed.
  • Stay abreast on emerging tax regulations, legislative changes and industry trends with the ability to translate this to Netflix relevance.
  • Contribute selflessly in the team's development and growth, such as offering guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications:
  • You embrace and advocate the Netflix and our .
  • You have 8+ years combined public accounting and/or corporate experience with a strong foundation on US international tax technical concepts and related tax reporting (technology or entertainment industry experience is a plus).
  • You are able to deeply analyze and clearly communicate (verbally and in writing) your point of view and advise in plain and clear terms.
  • You have extensive experience in OneSource OTP and OIT.
  • You have excellent data analytical skills, including Excel, Alteryx, and other tax technology skills.
  • You are great at prioritizing and managing work autonomously and the ability to act as project manager for specific projects.
  • You are comfortable in leading discussions with cross-functional partners on specific tax topics.
  • You have a growth mindset with the ability to learn, adapt and pivot quickly.
We offer a hybrid working model for this role and the role can be based in one of our California-based office locations (Los Gatos or Los Angeles).
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $160,000 - $390,000.
