About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking ahighly skilled Full Stack Java Developer with expertise in developing microservices and working with modern technologies such as MongoDB, Kafka, and container-based platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software engineering experience and the ability to lead moderately complex initiatives within a technical domain. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and deliver moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
- Contribute to large-scale planning and strategy development for technology solutions.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs, including upgrades and deployments.
- Review and address moderately complex technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
- Resolve technical issues and lead a team to meet client needs, leveraging a solid understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve project goals.
- Act as an escalation point, providing guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
- Lead projects and ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on Java development.
- 5+ years experience in developing microservices and working with MongoDB and Kafka.
- 3+ years hands-on experience with container-based technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- 3+ years of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in technology environments.

Pay Range
$126,400.00 - $262,600.00
