Job Description

You will

• Be part of a global team defining the approach to authentication for a global company with 100k+ users
• Act as one of the subject matter experts (SME) for global authentication services
• Drive projects with global impact and coordinate with other teams
• Translate business requirements into a technical solution and support the deployment of new / enhanced capabilities
• Responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and integration of applications with enterprise authentication standards and tools
• Provide guidance on authentication and API security and consult with business and other technology teams to address complex needs
• Be responsible for evaluating new solutions and developing the supporting elements required to incorporate new technologies in a safe and secure manner
• Produce architecture diagrams, blueprints, and solution narratives to bring these to reality
• Actively collaborate with project teams, consumers of IAM services, stakeholders and colleagues
• Coordinate managed service teams working on planned activities

Ideal skillset

• Hands-on experience in working on IT engineering efforts, in designing, implementing, and/or delivering IT systems
• Engineering expertise in PING products and technologies PingFederate, Ping Access, Ping Directory, PingOne
• SME level experience with SAML, OIDC, OAuth, MFA, and FIDO2.
• Self-driven with good time management to deliver within planned timelines
• Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
• Willingness to learn about IAM and the global enterprise environment
• Understanding of software/system delivery lifecycle and accompanying technologies
• Motivated team player with a positive attitude, and solid interpersonal skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate cross-culturally with a wide array of stakeholders, internally and externally

Preferred skillset

• Identity and Access Management area in medium or large enterprises
• Cybersecurity concepts including encryption, authentication, database security and information protection, Enterprise single sign-on (SSO), Federated SSO, multi-factor authentication, API security
• Authentication technologies such as PingFederate, PingAccess, Active Directory, Entra ID, MS Authenticator
• Fundamental knowledge of cloud identity management
• Certification in information security, application security, and/or cloud security is a benefit
