Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with developers through various channels, including social media, forums, and events. Engage 1:1 as needed/appropriate.
Advocacy: Represent the voice of the developer community within the company, advocating for their needs and feedback to influence product development.
Content Creation: Lead the development and delivery of high-quality technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, videos, and documentation, with support from other teams and team members. Content to support 1: many and 1: few engagement objectives.
Events and Workshops: Organize and participate in developer events, hackathons, webinars, and workshops to promote our AI technologies and engage with the developer community.
Support: Develop a well-tuned process and team to deliver technical support and guidance to developers, helping them troubleshoot issues and optimize their use of our AI products.
Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, product, and marketing teams to ensure a seamless developer experience and align strategic initiatives.
Outreach: Drive awareness and preference for our platform through targeted outreach to the developer community.
Developer Engagement: Foster engagement within the developer community and support the development of applications and AI agents.
Insight Sharing: Provide developer insights to internal teams to better inform platform development and deployment imperatives.
Business Development: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and opportunities to expand the adoption of our AI Platform.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in a Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or similar role, serving the enterprise with AI on-premises and cloud solutions.
Technical Skills: Strong technical background with experience in AI, machine learning, and cloud technologies. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is a plus.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
Community Building: Demonstrated ability to build and nurture developer communities, both online and offline.
Content Creation: Experience creating technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, videos, and documentation.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive team culture.
Other Qualifications:
Minimum 10+ years of experience, in applicable fields with increasing levels of responsibility for solution deployment, market penetration, and cross-functional team leadership.
Experience developing novel business models, negotiating contracts and pricing/forecasting.
Demonstrated track record for securing design wins
Adept at building and delivering customer presentations
Deep technical understanding of enterprise cloud services and generative AI
Able to travel up to 30% of time for customer/market briefings
Relevant engineering, computer science BS/BA degree. MBA or Masters Engineering preferred.
