Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer, you will carry field service activities for various health informatics software.

Including the solutions in South Africa as well as in case needed will remotely support the rest of Middle East Turkey and Africa install base when there are no field activities.

YourRole:

  • Manage effective communication with internal cross functional teams and internal customers.

  • Translate customer use case requirements into technical specifications and productdeliverables.

  • Effectively utilize service tools for the management of work requests and packages

  • Effectively utilize global Philips resources indesigning/implementingsolutions and configuring systems

  • Effectively utilize knowledge tools such as the Technical Publications, Configuration Management Systems and the Known Error Database in diagnosis/design andresolution/implementation

  • Develop test plans for all changes and new releases.

  • Ensure documentation quality for deployed systems.

  • Ensure effective technical handover to the Service Incident Support Team for all completed work packages.

  • Ensure technical knowledge sharing and training supports Services team development.

  • Act as the point of contact for all technical escalations from cross functional teams requiring emergency support or requiring interaction with Service Engineering and Research and Development teams.

  • Problem Management -Providing Root Cause Analysis for complexproblems.

  • Adhering to Philips processes for Deployment, Problem, Change and Release Management

  • Participate in project teams as an active implementation or integration team member based on area of primary expertise .

You will be the part of Field Service Engineer- Health Systems Incident Management META team and will report toMETA Region Services Operations Manager

You are the right fit if:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree in computer science or related technology with 3- 5 years hands-on experience supporting customers.

  • Awareness of or Familiarity with Radiological workflow, including DICOM, HL7 etc., mandatory.

  • Needs to be fluent in English with good written and spoken skills,

  • Proven proactive, self-starter with ability to assess complicated scenarios, determine action required, and engage appropriately to resolution.

  • Proven ability to solve problems systematically and effectively, ensures high customer satisfaction.

  • Self-driven, independent, humble and team spirited with learning aptitude.

  • Exhibits leadership through personal responsibility, accountability, and teamwork.
