Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement Safety and Health Management Systems
  • Directly execute the safety and health management system at the operational level across all departments.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, identify risks, and take immediate action to address safety hazards.
  1. Accident Prevention and Risk Management
  • Conduct routine safety checks and monitor workplace conditions to prevent accidents.
  • Respond immediately to any incidents or hazards, conducting root cause analysis and supporting corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Support the Senior Manager, H&S in driving the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) with the leadership team.

3. Training and Education

  • Organize and lead safety training sessions and workshops for employees to ensure they are informed about safety protocols.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of safety training and suggest improvements.
  1. Ensure Compliance with Safety Regulations
  • Ensure compliance with the SAPA(Serious Accident Punishment Act) and other relevant safety laws by maintaining proper documentation and adhering to safety procedures.
  • Take immediate corrective action when safety violations or incidents occur and report them to the appropriate managerial staff.
  • Support and execute H&S initiatives by coordinating with the union.

5. Support Accident Prevention Initiatives

  • Assist in the implementation of preventive measures and support the monitoring of these activities.
  • Facilitate communication between staff and management to ensure safety concerns are addressed promptly.

  • Experience in developing and managing safety systems across an organization

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (Safety Management, Public Health, or related fields
  • At least5years of experience in serious accident prevention and safety management (preferably in retail, manufacturing, or related industries)
  • Safety management certifications (e.g., Industrial Safety Engineer, Hazardous Materials Management Certification) preferred
  • English fluent (written and oral)
