Your role:
Own and manage product roadmaps for your assigned product family, including bill of material (BOM) cost reduction, component de-risking, and procurement strategy execution.
Lead supplier selection and make-vs-buy decisions in alignment with global category strategies to deliver maximum supplier performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Global Commodity Management, Product Sourcing Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Sustaining teams—to support supplier quality, cost, and risk management initiatives.
Manage supplier capacity, timelines, and deliverables for sustaining projects, from prototypes to ramp-up, ensuring on-time and on-spec delivery.
Provide supplier-specific data and business requirements to support negotiations, cost history tracking, and master data management in SAP/PLM systems.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 10+ years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing, preferably in a medical device or sustaining environment, with a proven track record in cost reduction, supplier management, and risk mitigation.
Your skills include technical procurement expertise (DfX, Should Cost Modeling, BOM analysis), supplier capacity planning, change management, and experience driving process improvements with vendors.
You have a degree in Engineering, Business, Materials, Finance, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this.
You’re an effective communicator and collaborator, able to lead multiple projects simultaneously, influence stakeholders, and work closely with global teams.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

The pay range for this position in San Diego, CA is $130,000 to $170,000.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
