General Summary:

  • Provides operational support for the Automotive Business Unit across commercial pricing, pipeline management, revenue planning, market analysis, and other special projects.

  • Key responsibilities include analyzing, creating, and distributing commercial pricing proposals, revenue pipeline metrics, market data, and reporting packages.

  • Collaborates with partners across various functional groups (Sales, Product Management, Finance, IT/systems, etc.) to collect, monitor, plan and analyze data in support of these key activities and responsibilities.

  • Helps to define and improve processes and reporting by leveraging a range of business tools and systems such as Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Salesforce, and others.

  • Continuously monitors key reports and metrics to identify material and relevant changes. Follows up with partners across various functions to resolve questions and issues related to the completeness and accuracy of key data.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 5+ years of business operations or related experience.

Associate's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 7+ years of business operations or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field.

  • 4+ years of experience with ERP, CRM (e.g., Sales Force), business analytics (e.g., Tableau), Microsoft Suite, or related systems/applications.

  • 3+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.

  • 2+ years of relevant technology industry experience.

  • Provides comprehensive operational support for business unit strategy and initiatives based on advanced knowledge of relevant business systems, processes, products, and procedures and suggests improvements to increase efficiencies.

  • Presents and communicates on analysis, metrics, and process / systems enhancements.

  • Regularly compiles, reviews, distributes, and presents summary packages of key reports and metrics, including commentary on key findings.

  • Delivers commercial pricing decks to internal sales and product marketing teams, contributes to deal analysis discussions, issues price book for customers, and resolves pricing execution issues.

  • Works closely with finance team to share information and ensure alignment on customer programs, product pricing, business case/deal analysis, forecast cycles, and any major ongoing projects or issues.

  • Monitors and reports on customer opportunity pipeline, including timely communication of key insights, trends, and concerns. Drives completion of all inputs and updates by sales teams to ensure accurate and complete opportunity data.

  • Reviews automotive market research reports and develops internal analysis on key trends and market share by vehicle domain.

Level of Responsibility:

• Works independently with little supervision.

• Provides some supervision/guidance to other members; does not have direct reports.

• Decisions are moderate in nature. Errors are detected and corrected with relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships. May require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.

• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. Role may require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents.

• Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).

• Most tasks do not have defined steps; simultaneous use of multiple mental abilities is generally required to determine the best approach; mistakes may result in significant rework.

• Substantial creativity is needed to innovate new processes, procedures, or work products within guidelines or to achieve established objectives.

• Deductive and inductive problem solving is required; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or conflicting; advanced data analysis and interpretation skills are required.

• Occasionally participates in strategic planning within own area affecting immediate operations

Pay range:

$103,000.00 - $154,000.00
