EY- Strategy and Transaction – TSE – Commercial Strategy – Pricing Strategy and Operations - Manager

  • As a Manager in TSE Commercial Strategy, you will work with business leaders and client executives to deliver pricing projects to deliver tangible improvements in top-line growth.
  • In this role, you’ll work on a dynamic mix of projects helping our clients solve some of their most pressing issues. Working in diverse, inclusive teams to build relationships with our clients, you’ll deliver innovative high quality work products.
  • Build relationships with EY offices across the globe and demonstrate knowledge of regional practices. Responsible for high degree of GDS user satisfaction with engagement process and work products
  • Use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of services provided

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as an advocate and leader in the strategic design process of projects, owning the overall Client Revenue Management Strategy and execution
  • Apply knowledge of B2B or B2C pricing leading practices, processes and technologies to help drive customer-centric solutions for helping clients reinvent their pricing strategy
  • Help clients make optimal investment decisions through Trade Spend Management and solve challenges faced by organizations today through Trade Spend Strategies
  • Work with commercial leadership to develop and implement actionable, measurable projects that accelerate revenue and margin growth and improve overall commercial function productivity
  • Support business development opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle
  • Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment, playing an active role in mentoring junior level consultants within the organization.

To qualify, candidates must have:

  • A post graduate degree (MBA) in Sales & Marketing, Finance with 9-11 years of related work experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least 1-2 of the following specialties:
    • Pricing Strategy
    • Price Architecture and Metrics Design
    • Pricing Analytics and Modelling experience especially with Dynamic Pricing
    • Pricing Technology experience especially on B2B Price Management, Price Guidance and/or CPQ Solutions
  • Experience leading pricing initiatives across multiple business units on a global scale
  • Significant people management experience with leading project teams and managing direct reports within an organization
  • Talent in adapting to new challenges and ideas
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Well versed with MS Excel & PowerPoint. Knowledge of Python, R Programming & SQL will be an added advantage.
  • Willingness to undertake international travel as per business requirement
