Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in partner management, sales, business development, or related roles in the technology industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
    • OR a Master degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with planning, budgeting, and project management activities.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Hong Kong and Taiwan markets, including existing sales channels, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Has strong partnership with HK/TW channels, with familiarity in HK/TW business
  • Track record of HK/TW GTM plan, sales delivery and execution.
  • Retail partner account management with proven business operational excellence and sales results.
  • Driving long-term sustainable sales growth with partners.
  • Delivery on Quarterly and Annual Account Budgeted Revenue.
  • Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and proficient in English communication in a multinational organization

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work experience in Consumer Electronics/IT ecosystem with a focus on devices and services sales across consumer segments.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • The HK/TW Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth and market expansion in the Hong Kong and Taiwan regions, covering strategic accounts, offline distributor development and e-commerce platforms. This multifaceted role requires strategic planning, effective partner engagement, and collaboration across internal teams to achieve revenue targets and enhance Microsoft's presence in the region.

Distribution Development

    • Develop and execute joint partner account plans with offline distributors to meet sales targets and ensure alignment with Microsoft's goals.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on plan execution, SKU assortment portfolio, and promotional activities.
    • Negotiate and execute programs and promotions with distributors, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
    • Facilitate distributor relationships with Microsoft Supply Chain and Operations to ensure order book quality and forecasting accuracy.
    • Lead cross-team collaboration to support distributors, sharing business plans and driving actions internally.
    • Identify opportunities for distributors to upgrade business capabilities based on market trends and evolution.

E-commerce Platform Development

    • Proactively cultivate and influence e-commerce platforms to maximize business impact for Microsoft.
    • Understand partners' strategies for business development and align Microsoft's seasonal plans accordingly.
    • Drive growth initiatives and align transformation efforts with partner objectives.
    • Utilize data analytics tools to analyze online sales performance and optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotional activities.
    • Collaborate with digital marketing teams to develop and execute traffic plans, online marketing campaigns, and paid media optimization strategies.
    • Manage product listings, pricing, and inventory levels on e-commerce platforms to enhance online visibility and conversion rates.

Strategic Account Development

    • Develop comprehensive sales strategies to expand Microsoft's presence in Hong Kong and Taiwan, aligning with overall company objectives.
    • Understand partner capabilities, competitors, and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Drive a focus on growth and proactively align growth transformation initiatives with Microsoft's strategic priorities.
    • Build trusted relationships with partners to deliver mutual growth and ensure alignment of strategic priorities.
    • Develop action plans to improve partner satisfaction scores based on feedback and insights.
