Job responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and testing of applications on mobile, compute and multiple flavors of devices and operating systems

• Architecting, coding, and testing tools with UI & compatible with Windows and Linux platforms, using popular languages like Java, C++, Python, C#. .net

• Supporting other software and test teams with deployment of sensors solutions on devices

• Development on prototypes reference platforms that cover mobile devices, watches, hearables, etc.

• Supporting bench marking of popular features across device types

• Documentation of design, tests, tool usage guides

• Working with global systems and software teams

Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s Degree or Masters degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience in software applications and tools. Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Candidate should be familiar with Java or basics of C++ and Python as plus.

• Candidate should be comfortable in development of system applications and tools in Java and, C++.

• Candidate should be familiar with Android Native app development (core concepts of Android SDK – Android App Lifecycle, Services, Caching, etc.)

• Experience with one or more Object Oriented Programming languages including but not limited to: Java, Python, C/C++, C#.

• Programming in one interpreted language (Python, Perl, Ruby)

• Experience with version control systems (Git, Subversion, etc.)

• Experience with issue tracking tools (Jira, GitHub, etc.)

• Experience in Test-Driven Development.

• Experience working in a multi-OS environment (Ubuntu Linux, Windows 10)

• Programming in C/C++ for desktop applications with GUI experience, Experience with Qt tools, Winform libraries would be great.

• Excellent analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AI software tools knowledge

• Understanding of basic embedded firmware concepts (interrupts, drivers, registers, RTOS, ..)

• Design of software applications and UIs to interact with an underlying computational engine

• Candidate is familiar with Android Debug Bridge (adb)

• Candidate is familiar with Android Unit Testing frameworks (any of JUnit, Mockito, Robolectric etc.)

Qualifications

• Candidate is familiar with Android Inter-Process Communication mechanisms

• Candidate is familiar with concurrency mechanisms in Android

• Candidate is familiar with Android Instrumentation Testing frameworks (Espresso, UI Automator)

• Candidate is familiar with cloud computing (any of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Education Requirements

Currently enrolled in Bachelors or Masters in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent

Java, C++, Python, UI, Android application development
