Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join the satellite development organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in spacecraft architecture, with expertise in functional decomposition, requirements definition and management, and the creation of interface control documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of industry experience
• Experience in MATLAB or Python
• Experience developing system engineering artifacts (e.g., ICDs, use cases diagrams, system architecture views, etc.)
• MBSE modeling experience (Siemen’s System Modeling Workbench / Capella preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree in System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of industry experience in spacecraft/space systems
