Your Key Responsibilities

The primary role of the SFT transaction team is to perform agreed-upon procedures (AUP) to help clients execute securitization transactions successfully.

  • Supervising a team of staff and seniors related to performing AUP work on each securitization transaction engagement using various software applications.
  • Review transaction modeling and analytics, which involves cash flow modeling, recalculating certain collateral quality and concentration limitations set out in each transaction’s indenture, including bond principal and interest payments, credit-enhancement, hedging instruments, fees and waterfalls for structured deals
  • Adept at understanding and interpreting complex structures, pricing assumptions and market data to independently evaluate the overall transaction.
  • Review offering documents to verify information is accurate, complete, and conforming with industry and market standards.
  • Manage deliverables expectations and timings with various parties involved which includes Onshore team and clients.
  • Work with and interact with front-office investment banking clients daily.
  • Responsible for preparing and issuing Agreed-Upon Procedure reports and invoices.
  • Train, mentor and counsel the junior team members on common modeling structures and troubleshooting techniques through continuous on-the-job constructive feedback.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and set expectations and goals for the team members.
  • Maintain positive team attitude.
  • Flexibility to work in cross-teaming projects as per business needs.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline and approximately 8 years of related work experience; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial cashflow modeling securitization transactions in Excel/VBA or any industry standard software applications such as Intex, Bloomberg or TREPP would be helpful and spreadsheet modeling skills will be a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supervising and training staff.
  • Ability to work independently and excellent prioritization skills and a commitment to meeting client deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for report writing, client presentations and client interactions.
  • Proficient skills with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, analytical skills, problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work more than standard hours when necessary to meet client deadlines.
  • Willingness to work in shift based on the role hired for.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Prior structured finance experience.
