Job Title - Assistant Director (Manager) – Innovation Risk
The ideal candidate will have 10–12 years of relevant experience and a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies. This role involves working across teams within the innovation risk ecosystem to support responsible deployment and development of AI Systems while managing risk and compliance requirements.
Your responsibilities
- Perform review of EY’s external content and ensure it complies with Risk Management, Responsible AI, and EY style guide standards.
- Use tools such as EYQ, Gen AI Tools and Copilot to assist in research and advisory efforts.
- Assist in driving the enablement of AI systems across service lines by collaborating with Risk, Legal, InfoSec, and Data Risk, Compliance teams.
- Contribute to the development and integration of the Risk and Control Matrix for AI systems.
- Support the development and implementation of risk and governance frameworks for AI and other emerging technologies.
- Advise on technology decisions related to AI platforms and tools, ensuring alignment with EY’s risk appetite and operational standards.
- Assist in monitoring and mitigating data risks associated with AI systems
- Manage projects and ensure timely delivery using standard PMO practices.
- Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for internal and external audiences.
- Collaborate within the risk innovation ecosystem i.e. Legal, InfoSec, Compliance, SLQ leaders across service line SL Quality, InfoSec and Global Innovation Leadership teams to identify and mitigate risks.
Technical Skills
- Demonstrated interest in AI and familiarity with AI governance tool and process
- Proficient in using digital tools such as EYQ and generative AI platforms
- Knowledge of GPAI and Agentic AI Tools and governance including risk classification, transparency, and accountability mechanisms.
- Strong understanding of quality and risk management principles and to identify and mitigate risks and integrate into innovation risk strategies.
- Understanding of emerging risks such as quantum computing, blockchain, and hyperscaler automation.
- Technical understanding of how AI systems interact with regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven experience in project management and PMO support
- Execution-focused with a solutions-oriented mindset
Business Skills:
- Ability to interpret and apply global regulatory frameworks to EY’s internal governance processes.
- Strong drafting, research, and communication abilities
- Plan, execute, and oversee projects efficiently.
- Stakeholder management skills to engage with Risk, Legal, InfoSec, Data, and Service Line leaders.
- Assessing, evaluate and mitigate risks for AI Systems
- Skilled in translating complex risk and compliance topics into clear, actionable guidance for diverse audiences.

Experience and qualifications
- Postgraduate, 10-12 years of experience
- Familiarity with AI landscape and responsible innovation practices is an advantage
- Project management or risk certifications are a plus
- Working in Risk Management domain is preferable
- IT proficient – Familiar with Risk Management tools like GIS and Alliance, Strong research skills to gauge any new knowledge
