Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creates content and tools (e.g. slide sets, manuals, summary papers) to effectively communicate clinical data, product knowledge and usage to health care professionals (HCPs), and to internal stakeholders in a way that ensures effective and thorough understanding of the medical application of the device in treating appropriate patients.
  • Manages publication related activities associated with product(s) including issuing regular bibliography updates, highlighting key publications, and tracking competitor publication activity. Leads global publication update meetings.
  • Creates and maintains a library of education materials (e.g. EduCare) aligned with the above to be used for physician-based education/training and implement updates at regular intervals to ensure timely data updates and version control. Ensure content is aligned with organizational strategic objectives and both commercial and clinical priorities.
  • Delivers on the Global Medical Plan tactics by supporting the MAMS in creating, delivering, supporting and executing on tasks associated with medical education events for local and global markets.
  • Works with MAMs and Director, Medical Affairs and Education in a supportive function to help deliver on outputs, as needed.
  • Works cross-functionally, as directed by MAMs, with commercial colleagues to deliver on product knowledge assets ensuring medical content is accurate and effectively communicated
  • Leads communication of contracting needs with the Medical Operations department to ensure proper lead-time and execution of speaker & trainer agreements, prior to services performed

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the Life Sciences or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience preferably within the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Experience with scientific/clinical writing such as abstracts, publications, presentations, clinical protocols

Preferred qualifications:

  • Therapeutic area experience within oncology and /or embolotherapy is preferred
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and task responsibilities and work independently for a number stakeholders
  • Ability to develop strategic solutions to unique, significant and complex business issues
