Under direct supervision, provide assistance in the performance of various routine purchasing assignments and planning of production materials. Assists in the procurement of raw materials necessary for the operation of the organization. Work with planning and manufacturing teams to ensure the production schedule is on track.

• Plans and executes procurement from approved suppliers both local and overseas
• Maintain and monitor master purchasing data
• Maintain purchase order status and shipment tracking information in ERP system
• Proactively reports material availability issues and provides supply status and shipment tracking in ERP system
• Work with Accounts Payable and Finance to resolve receipt, invoice, and credit processing issues
• Work with warehouse on material receipt issues and resolve any issues
• Coordinate logistics activities with approved freight forwarders

Qualifications

• 1-2 year of experience as a supply chain buyer in technology or manufacturing industry
• BS or BA degree, with emphasis in Supply Chain management preferred
• Knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP), water-fall table, red-yellow-green (RYG) report in an electronic manufacturing service (EMS) environment
• Knowledge in products and electronic components
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well organized and detail-oriented with good follow-up and project coordination
• Ability to multiple tasks and work well both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
• Proficient with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Earnings for this position are expected to be $50,000.00 - $130,000.00 Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
