Minimum 7+ years as an equipment operator. Carpentryand concrete finishing experience is a plus

Extensiveknowledge in using hand and power tools. The ability to think outside the boxand find innovative solutions.
Operating Heavy Equipment: One of the primary tasks ofexcavator operators is operating heavy equipment, ensuring that the operatingsafety policies and procedures are adhered to. Always working with a spotter. MaintainingMachinery: A key part of this job is to ensure that company equipment and anymaterials are well maintained, kept clean, and stored appropriately at the endof each day. This includes checking the filters and ensuring that equipment isgreased to keep it working effectively.
Keeping Work Areas Clean: Excavator operators keep thework area as tidy as possible, and ensure the equipment is clean by collectingany scrap or excess materials and disposing of refuse. Filling Out Paperwork:Excavator operators ensure that any necessary work reports and documentation isprepared and filled out at the end of each day and handed over to thesupervisor for their approval. These may include providing recommendations forhow to improve or maintain environmental performance.
Conforming to Safety Regulations: Excavator operatorsensure that all health and safety regulations are maintained on the work site,observing, and raising awareness to their colleagues of any potential problems. Knowledgeof USA markings: understand the rules and requirements of 811(dig alert). Alsoaware of underground utilities, utilities boxes and existing trenches.

Personal hand tools, tool belts and other smallpersonal tools (power tools are company provided)
