looking for an amazing engineering manager who will lead hardware systems engineers, create vision and strategy for integratingnew technology

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technical engineering experience

    o OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 7+ years of technical engineering experience

    o OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years of technical engineering experience

    o OR Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field ANDOR Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years of technical engineering experience

  • + years of relevanthands-onexperience in systemand rack-level solution(power, cooling,compute, storage, networking, and/or accelerator) level design and/or implementation across the hardware development lifecycle.

Other Qualifications

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of high-volumeSystemdevelopment, rack-level solution designcompute, storage, and/or networking design, manufacturing, and deployment.
  • Knowledge about datacenters & operations at scale.
  • Experience managing hardware programs through the entire product lifecycle.
  • Leadership experience includes recruiting, building, and managing teams.
  • Experience with hardware, firmware, management firmware, and/or software (system & application stack) interfaces across all modules in a system.
  • Ability to work across multiple disciplines (hardware, firmware, software, and/or data center infrastructure) to identify risks, drive discussions, detail system tradeoffs, and assess impact.

  • Build and support a team of hardware systems engineers.
  • state-of-the-artcompute, storage, networking, and accelerator hardware solutions.
  • Drive Perform NUDD (new, unique,differentand difficult) technology and feature analysis and provide risk assessment and mitigations.
  • Drive technical requirements and ensure the solution is flexible and scalable across the full (HW/FW/SW) stack.
  • Enable platform and solution level discussions, influencing architecture of the product, and delivering to product goals across quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with internal, external, and open-source partners to onboard innovative technologies in a seamless manner.
