Level 2 – Senior Associate
Location - UK Wide

Your key responsibilities

  • Daily running and scheduling of content for our EY UK Careers social media and digital channels, including community management; replying to comments and messages, escalating risks, engaging with relevant accounts, and nurturing our existing follower base.
  • Attending a variety of social media calls to optimise our content calendar across multiple platforms, knowledge sharing with teams, advise on best practice and being actively involved in discussions to ensure performance and engagement of our content exceed benchmarks.
  • Building out our employee advocacy programme, co-developing a wide range of materials, and delivering regular learning and training sessions to stakeholders and the wider business. This also includes the daily operational management of our advocacy platform and being the main point of contact.
  • Supporting on the build out of a robust organic and paid dashboard, and regular reporting. Using data-driven insights to help develop and influence ideas and future content that will resonate with and create greater engagement with our audiences and communities.
  • Supporting the refresh of our Careers website, ensuring it’s up-to-date and rich in content, including supporting with any Global initiatives such as migration projects.
  • Working closely with our creative team, and wider partners to build out EY’s digital and social media presence through campaign work.
  • Proactively scanning the market to understand the latest trends in the employer branding space, with an eye on new campaigns, digital and social channels, and initiatives we’re seeing across the market.
  • Ensuring all digital content is aligned to EY’s visual identity and employee value proposition, content is written using inclusive language and that there is representation across a diverse range of people.
  • Monitoring our employee voice and social sentiment externally across key channels, and regularly sweeping other digital platforms and candidate journeys ensuring the content is accurate, consistent and up to date.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Project management skills – ability to plan and manage your time effectively. You will have experience of working on multiple projects simultaneously and high volumes.
  • Relationship building skills – ability to build productive relationships with a wide network of teams, including those wider to Talent Attraction and Acquisition. You will be an active listener and adapt your approach where necessary - but also be able to express your opinion when relevant.
  • Communication skills – you will have strong communication skills with the confidence to present and deliver training effectively to wider stakeholders and the business.
  • Influencing skills – using expertise and data to feed into digital and social media content creation for campaigns and BAU activity.
  • Technical mindset – interrogate key EY recruitment systems to understand functionality, candidate journeys and technical challenges in order to find solutions to connect end-to-end candidate pathways, enabling better reporting.
  • Teamwork – experience of working in a diverse team, working collaboratively to come up with innovative solutions to the firm’s complex hiring needs.
  • Commercial awareness – you will have knowledge of the modern media landscape and the strengths and weakness of different channel approaches.
  • Resilience – you will be able to work under pressure in a complex business with the ability to respond to change at short notice.
  • Data driven – you will be able to analyse data and insights from digital and social platforms and present key findings to feed into the wider strategy.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Previous experience working in social media – both organic and paid
  • Digital marketing and/or employer brand

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Previous experience working in a professional services environment or matrix structure
  • Technical skills, including:
    • In-depth understanding of social media channels including LinkedIn Campaign Manager
    • Social media management tools such as Sprinklr
    • Basic understanding of content management systems
    • Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop
    • Reporting platforms such as Adobe Analytics, PowerBi
    • Ability to write engaging copy for digital and social channels
