Under general supervisory direction, assists in the daily support of processes, materials and equipment for medical devices consisting of extruded, braided and injection-molded components in order to meet production goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and troubleshoot process, material or equipment issues to minimize downtime and meet production goals.
  • Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures.
  • Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to improve processes.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Work with engineers on continuous improvement projects and new product transfers.
  • Work with departmental customers to improve material / process quality.
  • Identify and assist in resolving safety, health, or environmental issues associated with processes or equipment, and maintain compliance with good manufacturing practices.
  • Train and provide technical support or direction to product builders and other technicians.
  • Write and execute validation protocols and technical reports.

Required qualifications:

  • 1 year with an Associate in Arts degree/diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/work experience
