As a Client Associate in J.P. Morgan Advisors, you will provide dedicated business support to a Financial Advisor(s) and their clients. You will establish, maintain, and build relationships while delivering exceptional client service. In this position you will have extensive client contact; you will be involved in all activities that touch prospective or existing clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the client onboarding and account maintenance for new and existing clients. Inclusive of collecting account-specific information, obtaining account document from clients and complying with regulatory policies and procedures
- Perform daily administrative and operational duties that support the Financial Advisor(s) and clients; including money transfers, client account maintenance, and ad hoc requests
- Support firm and regional initiatives and remediation's, and participate in recurring local, national and technology team meetings
- Support team with administrative duties such as travel and expense, scheduling of client and internal meetings, team calendar management, and sending mail
- Follow up on internal document processing (e.g., account opening, money movement, wires) to provide status updates to the team and guard against roadblocks
- Oversee client account maintenance needs such as ordering new check books, providing support for banking offerings, and supporting clients with online access
- Operate in a floater capacity and/or not support dedicated coverage but act as a resource for branch.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Series 7 & 66 licenses upon hire or must successfully obtain within 180 days from hire
- Proven ability to be a self-starter, act as an end-to-end owner of tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proactively identify and deliver appropriate solutions that address the needs of our clients
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members while maintaining professionalism in difficult situations
- Less than one year of transferrable Wealth Management experience

- Able to adapt and stay abreast of changing technology and regulatory policies
- Highly proficient user of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
