You will:

• Collaborate with the Software Development Manager to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our Input and Output tools, including bug fixes.
• Keep our Energy Management software repositories current and well-organized.
• Assist in the documentation process for our Software Management Project to ensure clarity and accessibility.
• Conduct software testing as instructed by the Software Development Manager to guarantee the reliability and performance of our applications.
• Provide coding support during client engagements to meet project requirements and deliver exceptional results.

What we’re looking for

Here’s our ‘wish list’, but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, your eagerness to learn and your ambition to grow.

• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong SQL capabilities.
• Have completed a degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field.

Ideally you'll also have

• Experience in a software maintenance role
• An understanding of VBA coding or the enthusiasm to learn
• Some knowledge of the Energy Industry
• Experience with web design
• Matlab or the enthusiasm to learn
