- Develop and present high-level cost estimates for multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Create detailed cost estimates as designs progress, collaborating with stakeholders on cost drivers and value engineering opportunities across all trades
- Maintain a proactive approach to ensure all stakeholders are aligned with program goals
- Define long-term strategies for estimation methodologies, tools, and systems for CAPEX projects
- Estimate cost impacts related to design changes and construction strategies during project execution, working closely with project teams to forecast costs
- Assist in preparing cost information for project funding requests to management as well as track and summarize estimate performance in collaboration with Finance
- Contribute to the development of estimating standards, procedures, and systems, and provide input for future benchmarking and estimating tools
- 5+ years of experience in estimation, preferably across all trades
- Experience in estimating Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Piping, and life safety systems
- Proven experience in value engineering and rapid cost modeling
- Fundamental knowledge of construction processes; experience in construction management preferred
- Ability to thrive in a high-performance, cross-functional organization with tight timelines and aggressive goals
- Experience with change management procedures and ability to prepare cost trend/change estimates
- Willingness to travel to project locations as needed (up to 50%), sometimes on short notice
