Your Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the technical delivery and reporting for a wide range of projects, taking ownership of at least one major workstream;
  • Demonstrate expert core consulting skills and advanced level of Actuarial knowledge and industry expertise to support delivery to clients;
  • Communicate with client contacts and help manage expectations of delivery, content, timescales and cost;
  • Participate in the preparation and presentation, to clients at senior executive and board levels;
  • Contribute to projects as a topic / subject matter specialist
  • Play your part in the development of intellectual property to support sales-oriented client interaction;
  • Assist in responding to client proposals;
  • Develop people through effectively coaching and mentoring more junior staff;
  • Play a role in team administration tasks - such as feedback, counselling, finance, recruitment, learning, etc; and
  • Keep up to date with industry news and trends, and actively identifying risks or opportunities to improve our services.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in insurance / reinsurance sector gained from working as a business analyst or project manager or organizational management professional either in the insurance / reinsurance industry or at an insurance consultancy firm;
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills, as acquired through a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Computer Science;
  • Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in insurance organizational management and transformation
  • Experience in project/program management in insurance
  • Previous involvement in projects related to insurance business processes and controls design, maturity assessment, risk assessment, implementation
  • Previous involvement in projects related to optimization of insurance operating model especially in areas such as claims, underwriting and distribution
  • Experience in Solvency II compliance and governance framework;
  • A committed approach to continuous professional development is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical writing and client presentation

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • The ability to deal with outward-facing client management on projects and on-selling;
  • The ability to work with a variety of stakeholders at all levels;
  • Experience in supervising workstreams and individuals;
  • Experience in ESG requirements application in insurance will be much appreciated;
  • Experience in Responsible AI governance framework in insurance will be much appreciated;
  • Professional certifications in project management will be considered an asset;
