We provide reporting solutions or requirements through finance, markets and operations reporting along with cyclical and critical controlling processes such as Forecasting, Financial Planning, Revenue Planning, Markets Leadership Planning and Cash Reporting to help you take better business decisions. With projects like Mercury, we also support business transformation, and we are continuing to expand our services to support all Regions with their reporting and analytics needs.

The purpose of this job is to prepare financial reports and study financial results, cost analysis and budgets. Study transactions to conclude root causes, variances and suggest corrections to management. Design and create complex reports to user specifications. The position will ideally have to handle more complex issues and special projects than a junior financial analyst.

Your key responsibilities

• You will work in the BA&I team supporting the respective process assigned and is expected to provide business insights, weekly and monthly performance reviews and supporting planning/forecasting activities.
• Be involved in the consolidation process for planning/forecasting. Ensuring the activities are completed on time, with prioritizing follow-up actions and collaborating with finance leads for on time delivery.
• Should have a good understanding of key drivers impacting performance and review/reconciliation of accounts based on the process supported.
• Works with key stakeholders delivering on weekly and monthly reporting activities. Maintains a robust month end reporting process, and ensure commentaries are timely, insightful and action oriented.
• Based on business requirements support leadership by answering their ad-hoc queries related to financial performance. The same must be showcased with the ability to do trend analysis and building financial models which would in turn would assist in identifying the issues and provide actionable information to the stakeholders.
• Supports and assists the business in improving their insights into business performance.
• Works with geography analysts to get in-depth details to bring increased transparency and understanding around IT costs.
• Be involved in improvement projects re. processes, procedures and systems
• Should be a team player and participates with broader team and supports staff members directly or indirectly in the development, implementation, and support of financial visibility to meet their business requirements.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 6-8 years in financial reporting and other accounting processes.
• B.Com or BBM (with finance and accounts as subjects)
• MBA or CWA Inter or CA Inter or M.Com is good to have
• Strong MS office tools – Excel, Access, Power point skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting concepts
• Good communication skill

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Exposure to Power BI, SQL or any other visualization tools
