Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of SoC display subsystem architecture: - Work closely with SoC and fabric architects, software, and system engineers to architect SoC display subsystem - Architect display subsystems, including display pipe control, memory, and interfaces - Provide detailed architectural guidance at all levels of design throughout the design process from concept through production - Make recommendation on key design tradeoffs across architecture and performance - Author and maintain the display subsystem architecture specifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS degree
  • Experience in chip architecture, display subsystem architecture and/or design
  • SoC display subsystem architecture and micro-architecture knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
  • 20+ years of relevant industry experience in signal/image processing
  • MS or PhD degree
  • Understanding of SoC display sub-system architecture, interface, performance and energy tradeoffs
  • Understanding of display or image technology
  • Expertise in memory subsystem, memory interface, and DMA
  • Architectural modeling ability
  • Communication skills with cross-functional teams
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $207,800 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
