Your Role and ResponsibilitiesOn term you should have acquired depth of knowledge and experience in the Data Security domain and should be able to speak across the landscape as well.
As a confirmed consultant, working independently you will provide subject matter expertise in the form of briefings, workshops, and/or consulting engagements within your domain that assess a client’s security capabilities as well as recommending solutions to enhance a client’s overall security capabilities. Such client security capabilities may involve policy, process, technology, or organizational areas.
As an experienced consultant you will identify gaps in the current environment and recommend best practices or solutions to reduce client risk and increase their ability to deal with emerging threats and risks to the organization.
Required Professional Expertise:
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to lead large groups and be a primary facilitator.
- Comfortable working in a project based / client serving model.
- Lead and shape client expectations
- Ability to work with global and diverse teams in a dynamic environment in a matrix management model.
- Ability to create curriculum and deliver product training to customer groups and individuals.
- Strong track record in building relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders
- The second European language despite good command of English is a must.
Security Domain Skills (Data Security) and Technical Skills:
- Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements for Data Security
- A proven track record of successful consulting and deployment of Data Security projects
- Experience in performing and driving projects in one or more Data Security domains: Data security and monitoring; Vulnerability assessment of data repositories; Sensitive data discovery and classification; Data encryption and tokenization; Data Base user Entitlement
- An understanding of the Data Security market, security compliance directives and mandates, technologies, and concepts.
- One or more relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, SABSA or other
- Knowledge of and hands-on experience with SQL language
- Knowledgeable and experienced with database environments such as Oracle, Informix, SQL Server, UDB/DB2, Informix, MySQL, Teradata and/or Sybase.
- Knowledge and experience in UNIX/Linux environments
- Experience in working in Distributed environments; Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google)
- Knowledge and experience with Enterprise architecture; Cloud architecture
- Understanding Network and product software security concepts
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with Guardium Data Security product deployments
- Knowledge with Data Security Policy management
- UNIX scripting and Perl programming
- Knowledge and experience with Ansible, Java Scripting and XPath
- Knowledge and experience with Big Data technology and environments
- Knowledge and experience with Z/OS environments
- Knowledge in another European language preferred, such as German, French, Italian.
