Description
As a machine learning engineer you are excited to seek and tackle high impact problems using deep learning and large data sets. You will stay up to date with the latest research in detection, segmentation and metric learning and work with a team of highly qualified computer vision and machine learning specialists to develop innovative computer vision/machine learning systems in the area of visual search. You'll be involved in all phases of model development including data analysis, prototyping, testing, deployment.If this is you, we'd love to hear from you.
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD, MS or equivalent experience
- Experience in machine learning, deep learning, information retrieval, natural language processing or data mining
- Experience of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluating, and developing data collection/annotation/management tooling for LLMs.
- Proficiency in one of following languages: Python, Go, Java, C++
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent data analytical skills
- Good interpersonal skills and team player
- PhD preferred
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $207,800 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
