Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, process improvement or related experience in electrical system equipment such as LV/MV, PDUs, Transformers, UPS, etc.
  • Technical knowledge, ideally with experience in multiple sectors and industries
  • Experience with data center operations, EPC, or mission critical equipment
  • Experience with manufacturing environments, technical specifications


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 1+ year(s) internship experience in supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience or
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field or equivalent experience
  • Lean 6 Sigma Greenbelt/Gemba experience.
  • ASQ Certification.
  • Supplier Quality experience.


These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities
  • Drives electrical equipment supplier quality improvement initiatives, supports supplier selection for the region and conducts supplier audits.
  • Leads part qualification processes through implementation of product quality plans, equipment inspections, factory witness testing, and manufacturing process qualifications.
  • Assesses equipment quality and manufacturing processes to ensure suppliers meet Microsoft capabilities and requirements, address non-conformances, mitigate escaping defects that may impact sites, and develop critical supplier engagement strategies to proactively address gaps.
  • Performs root cause analysis of equipment failures. Provides technical support and guidance for improving equipment reliability.
  • Partners with supply chain, engineering, construction, and vendors to identify equipment quality performance gaps, testing protocols, and implement corrective actions at suppliers.
