Key Responsibilities include:
- Intercompany Netting:
- Review intercompany invoices from various business units, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Match intercompany invoices on both the AP and AR sides to ensure consistency and detect discrepancies.
- Detect the missing document and provide the receiving country with them.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with our participating countries local member firm in order to understand the discrepancies and have them corrected.
- Ensuring a follow up on the correction requested, and disputed invoices.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare weekly reports shared with all participating countries to inform them about the actual situation of each of their invoices in the other countries.
- Calculate once a month the different payment flow based on all open and correct positions between two countries.
- Make sure that all countries are processing their payment following our payment report.
- Provide to our participating countries the support required to apply their received payments.
- Compliance and Audit Support:
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and legal requirements.
- Assist in internal and external audit processes as they pertain to intercompany transactions.
- Additional responsibilities
- Provide insights and visibility on the Performance of the Member Firms
- Maintain a log to track issues and discrepancies
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise for GDS analysts
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 36+ months of experience in Financial accounting transactions
- Experience with ERP systems, as well as general accounting software’s and preferably SAP
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a strong focus on team effort.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
