Support the Global Customs team to ensure an effective and controlled customs operation which supports the business goals while providing guidance on customs related requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Global and Regional Customs initiatives and operational projects, as defined by Manager Global Customs.
  • Support ongoing development of Customs processes, procedures, and analytics that will contribute to the ongoing customs operations and ensure legal requirements with Customs authorities are met.
  • Deliver essential business analytics, executive summaries, and agreed action plans related to Global Customs initiatives for management, as required.
  • Support customs import, export and duty optimization analysis and reporting within Global and Market customs teams and brokers i.e., periodic reporting, KPI tracking, compliance reporting dashboards, etc.
  • Support ad hoc projects.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient use of Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access) essential.
  • Demonstrated business reasoning, analytical and critical thinking.
  • Good planning and organizational skills, and ability to work and deliver in dynamic environments while adhering to specified deadlines.
  • Capability to work independently to solve problems and propose solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Enthusiastic and reliable, positive, self-motivated.
  • Practical knowledge of customs clearance operations and customs regulations desirable.
  • Familiarity with project management and supply chain operations desirable.
  • Knowledge of data analytics is an advantage.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) from an accredited college or university with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, logistics, supply chain, information system or operations
  • +2 years’ experience in a customs/logistics department in an international company would be desirable.
  • Fluency in English, Written and Spoken
