Job Overview:

Arm is seeking a proactive and diligent Compliance Manager to lead and scale our compliance and quality assurance function within the Data Center Engineering organization. In this role, you will not only architect the framework that ensures alignment with certifications and regulatory requirements, but also build and lead a high-performing team focused on operational perfection.

You will serve as a strategic partner to lab operations, systems engineering, facilities, and security teams—translating regulatory and quality requirements into practical, scalable standards for our high-performance computing infrastructure. • Operational Compliance Program Ownership: Define and implement operational compliance programs across high-performance computing labs, including standards for equipment use, maintenance practices, labeling, and process governance.
  • Global Trade & Export Control Oversight: Establish and retain controls related to international shipments, export classifications, technology transfer compliance, and interactions with global partners. Ensure alignment to ITAR, EAR, and other relevant regimes while maintaining program agility and speed.
  • Business Continuity & Risk Mitigation: Develop and maintain business continuity plans for critical lab and infrastructure operations, ensuring resilience and recovery planning is in place for hardware, power, cooling, and related dependencies.
  • Internal Policy Alignment: Ensure team activities align with broader Arm-wide compliance requirements, including supplier management, health and safety, environmental guidelines, and ethics-related protocols.
  • Documentation & Audits: Oversee process documentation, version control, labeling standards, and compliance runbooks. Prepare for internal reviews and external audits where required.
  • multi-functional Engagement: Act as an extension engineering, lab operations, legal, facilities, and leadership to set shared goal and embed compliance into the development and execution lifecycle.
  • Supervise changes in applicable laws, export controls, and Arm corporate policy—driving updates to procedures and communicating changes across partners.
  • Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Create dashboards, reports, and executive updates to supervise compliance posture, identify gaps, and deliver actionable improvements.
Required Skills and Experience :
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience leading compliance or governance programs in an R&D, hardware, technical environment.
  • Solid understanding of export compliance frameworks (e.g., EAR, ITAR), trade documentation, and shipping practices for technical equipment.
  • Familiarity with business continuity planning, risk assessment methodologies, and interpersonal readiness practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience leading people, setting priorities, and developing team capability.
  • Comfortable with fast paced environment that is rapidly developing and changing.

  • Exposure to experimental or R&D lab environments supporting hardware, silicon, or AI infrastructure development
