As the Service Manager for Denmark, you'll be reporting to the Nordics Director of Service and manage the Service P&L for Denmark. As the Area Service Manager, you'll be responsible for leadership and development of a large field service team, and the cultivation of strong customer relationships to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will provide leadership in setting and achieving goals for the profitable installation, maintenance and repair of GE HealthCare products and the retention and growth of the service contract base in your area.
Responsibilities
  • Acts as the point of escalation to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of service concerns.

  • Accountable for positive leadership of direct reports including recruitment, ongoing direction, coaching, and career development.

  • Drives business results and manages customer relationships within area of responsibility

  • Owns operational processes (e.g. Preventive Maintenance completion, Overtime management, Inventory, Customer Satisfaction, FE Tool utilization)

  • Leads and cultivates a culture of GE Values and integrity.

  • Leverages internal relationships to enhance business performance and customer experience.

  • Promotes a safe working environment and ensures compliance with applicable EHS and Quality policies and procedures.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and experience in management or leadership role OR equivalent (Diploma or other relevant qualification alongside extensive leadership or technical support experience in a relevant industry).

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region

  • Fluent in Danish and English language

Desired skills
  • Business management or administration qualification

  • Prior field sales or field service experience

  • Proven leadership and ability to orchestrate resources and motivate teams

  • Experience in managing a large P&L

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate across a distributed workforce

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
