Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Strong in SDLC and OOP concepts

• Proficient in C/C++, Java, Python programming

• Good knowledge of OS fundamentals, data structures and Linux Kernel.

• Good understanding of RDBMS, normalization and SQL/MYSQL queries

• Good knowledge of scripting languages (mainly Python and Shell)

• Familiarity with Linux environment

• Familiarity with build and integration, and release process/management (GNU Make, Android, Git repositories etc.)

• Familiarity with Android Open Source Project and open source tools

• Familiarity with Android change management (Repo/Gerrit)

• Sound analytical skills

• Practical knowledge of logs analysis, debugging and fixing issues

• Fundamental knowledge of Tools/Automation design and development

• Self-motivated, adaptable, and independent, capable of working with limited supervision, pro-actively reporting on status and tasks

• 0-4 years of experience in the above areas

Good to have:

• Experience in android and Linux build system, integration, and associated tools

• Experience in Linux continuous integration development and Linux based build system enhancement

• Plan and execute product software integration/testing and build/release

• Requirement collection and test plan development, testing automation and verification

• Experience in Embedded software development

• Expertise in analyzing of logs and debugging issues

• Experience in build and integration processes

• Experience in writing automation/tools
