Key Responsibilities:
Leadership
- Lead a talented, engaged and high-performing team. Ensure that team members are clear on objectives and are held to account appropriately. Ensure that team members are retained and that they can develop in their careers.
Customer Satisfaction
- Maintain customer satisfaction at target levels and promptly resolve customer issues.
Finance
- Takes ownership for financial performance for the Rest of Asia Service LOB. Monitors financial performance on a monthly basis and reviews estimates versus actuals across the district project deck to continuously improve Service & Sales operational metrics. Effectively leads the implementation of productivity enhancing process changes related to project delivery.
Cost Control & Productivity
- Responsible for driving costs down to be competitive in the marketplace. Controls cost and maximize productivity through & Productivity the implementation of effective methods, standard processes and engagement of Supply Chain team. Ensures the availability of tools, equipment, and materials required while maintaining and controlling inventory levels.
Resource Planning
- Ensures Service & Sales are resourced properly across the region and that sharing and collaboration across Districts is encouraged. Develops effective partnerships with GBO to ensure an adequate pool of resources is available.
Performance Management
- Manage the performance management process, conducting performance appraisals, and providing coaching, training, career planning, development, salary administration and reward and recognition for the team.
Team Building / Communication
- Builds and effective team committed to organizational goals, foster collaboration among team members and between teams. Communication Develop strong relationships with Project Leaders so as ensure effective sales to Service operations handovers, optimized utilization of resources and maximal Service conversion.
Change Management
- Be the change management leader for team and aggressively implement agreed to initiatives.
Health, Safety & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment through effective communication, training, equipment/vehicle maintenance and statutory compliance facilities improvement. Manage safety
program
for assigned field operation. Ensure fire and security industry codes and standards are upheld. Ensures that Honeywell SOPs are in place and adhered to.
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15+ years’ experience in a senior management role in the service industry, preferably in building technologies or related sectors. General Management or Sales experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others
- Proven track record of driving growth and operational excellence in a service-oriented business.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage large, geographically dispersed teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with senior executives, customers, and frontline staff.
- Deep understanding of the economic and business environment in Malaysia and the broader ROA region.
