Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Political Science, International Relations, Public Relations or a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience working within the advertising tech industry in functions such as industry relations, public policy and partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
10 years of experience working with/within government, think tanks, public interest groups, technology industry groups, or corporate public policy organizations.
Deeper understanding of the business and public policy landscape facing Google and the digital advertising industry in Australia/New Zealand markets.
Familiarity with advertising, tech, and trade associations.
Proven ability as an effective public speaker and communicator.
Adept relationship builder capable of fostering trust externally, with proven track record of working successfully in complex, cross-functional environments and influencing without authority.
Entrepreneurial, independent, and a solutions driven mindset.
