ABOUT THE ROLE
The Facilities Energy Manager will be responsible for implementing and promoting efforts to decrease energy and water usage, lower greenhouse gas emissions, reduce utility expenses, and ensure compliance with relevant federal energy laws and Executive Orders.
You will be responsible for leading the development of on-site installation, servicing, and repair procedures for complex equipment and systems at Fort Moore. Additionally, you will oversee the revision and improvement of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists. Your role will also involve driving continuous improvement initiatives in processes related to field services and product development. You will lead cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment and act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.
•Validate customer request
•Identify opportunities and provide suggestions to reduce energy costs, consummation, and demand.
•Educate customer and field technicians
•Write documentation used by field technicians
•Ensure Right and Fast Delivery Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
• 5+ years of experience in a customer facing role, managing building automation and integrated control systems (such as HVAC, lighting alarms, security access)
• Experience providing performance verification by testing and monitoring Measurement and Verification programs to promote performance of installed systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-year degree from an accredited institution or vocational program in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• CEM Certified (Certified Energy Manager)
• Niagara 4 experience
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
