Job Summary

As a Quality Analyst Associate in the Asset Wealth Management (AWM) Quality Assurance (QA) Operations team, you will be responsible for executing Quality Assurance (QA) testing for AWM Operations non-lending QA programs, with focus on validation of Client Onboarding and Authorities, Fees, and Client service business processes.

You must be able to develop a strong understanding of the process and system workflows, be involved in validation strategy discussions, and properly execute the validation plan with limited supervision.

You must be able to interact with appropriate stakeholders to calibrate exceptions and help finalize testing results.

In addition, you will work to identify improvement opportunities based on issues, escalation thresholds, etc. and assist with checklist and procedural enhancements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the business process and procedures and develop test plans that align with business procedures and system workflow
  • Execute testing scripts within the prescribed timeline
  • Develop testing procedures
  • Understand root cause for the errors and potential impact, and communicate completeness and accuracy of the remediation of errors identified to the business analyst
  • Communicate and confirm the test results and discuss results at a detailed level, including in summary for Executive audiences
  • Recommend control design enhancements to your Manager

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Business Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline
  • Ability to multi-task, strong priority management, attention to detail, and deliver business results
  • Strong communication, presentation, project management, and leadership skills
  • High degree of independent decision making, autonomy and sound judgement
  • Influence and drive key aspects of the business/function
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills to be used in evaluation and interpretation of data
  • Ability to follow complex methods and procedures in diverse routine and non-routine tasks
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Teamwork and collaboration expertise
  • Highest level of professionalism, self-motivation and sense of urgency
  • Fluent in English

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • At least 5 years’ experience in AWM Operations, QA, Audit, Controls or Risk experience
  • Knowledge of operational processes throughout AWM Operations
  • Experience with business applications supporting AWM Private clients e.g. Connect Applications - DocManager, Client Profile, Account profile, Suitability, Cross Border, Olympic, Workhub, Fee Transparency, NICE
  • International language speaker e.g. French, German, Spanish (Russian)
