JPMorgan Lead Software Engineer - DevOps

Job responsibilities:

• Act as a technical lead for DevOps processes
• Serve as a focal person in the new India office, helping to recruit DevOps engineers to the office
• Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation while considering security, stability and resiliency of the processes
• Support Athena Client release that serves thousands of developers and the largest python code base in the world and deployed to Windows, Linux and AWS servers around the globe
• Onboard and upgrade third party libraries

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
• Experience in software development in Python/C++
• Experience building and maintenance of CI pipelines including Jenkins pipelines, Git
• Experience with build tools (such as make, cmake, SCons or others)
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes, security and operating systems
• Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
• Excellent communication skills in English – both verbal and written
• Collaborative team spirit

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development and testing
• Experience in C++ Development & debugging
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies.
