We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Drupal Developer with a minimum of 7 years hands-on development experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Drupal development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects. As a Senior Drupal Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Drupal-based websites and applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Drupal-based websites and applications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and implement solutions
- Customizing and extending Drupal modules to meet project requirements
- Optimizing website performance and ensuring scalability
- Implementing security best practices to protect websites from vulnerabilities
- Integrating third-party systems and APIs as needed
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers
- Keeping up to date with the latest Drupal trends, tools, and technologies
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Drupal development
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and related web technologies
- Working knowledge of client-side frameworks such as React
- Strong understanding of Drupal architecture, theming, and module development
- Experience working with Acquia cloud platform and Site Studio
- Familiarity with Drupal 8/9 and the ability to migrate websites from older versions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Acquia Certification (Developer, Site Builder, or similar)
- Experience with other CMS platforms such as WordPress or Joomla
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
