Your key responsibilities

  • Provide strategic counsel, both independently and supporting fellow GCO team members, to business leaders and Talent Team professionals that balances risk and EY’s business interests
  • Respond to and manage employment-related claims, litigation and workplace investigations
  • Proactively monitor and advise relevant teams on changing provincial employment legislation and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop Talent-related policies and processes

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 2-4 years of solid employment law experience preferably at a large law firm or employment law boutique
  • Professional services related experience would be an asset
  • Current knowledge of employment litigation and alternative dispute resolution processes, as well as privilege and discovery rules
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A professional approach, team player & excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply (proficiency in French is considered an asset, but not required)
