JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Quality Control Inspector here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. You will be responsible for inspecting and testing products at various stages of the production process to ensure they meet the required standards. Your attention to detail and expertise in quality control will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations. You will report directly to our Quality Control Manager and you’ll work out of our Shreveport, LA location. In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our products, ensuring that they meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests using various tools and equipment.
  • Document and report inspection results, including any non-conformities or deviations from specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections and test results.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistent and reliable quality control processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations.


YOU MUST HAVE

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control orinspection role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defectsor non-conformities.
• Knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
