As a Tool & Die Maker here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for designing, building, and repairing precision tools, dies, and fixtures used in the manufacturing process. Your expertise in machining and metalworking will ensure the production of high-quality components and products. You will work closely with engineers and production teams to develop efficient manufacturing processes and troubleshoot any tooling issues. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of quality and productivity.In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes by designing and maintaining precision tools and dies. Your work will directly contribute to the production of high-quality products and the overall success of our operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and repair precision tools, dies, and fixtures
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to develop efficient manufacturing processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues to ensure uninterrupted production
  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections on tools and dies
  • Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of tooling components
  • Keep detailed records of tooling designs, modifications, and repairs

The annual base salary range for this position is $41.89/hr. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE
  • 6 years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker (design, construction, alteration, and repair of complicated tools, dies, fixtures, gages, molds and special equipment)
WE VALUE
  • High School Diploma
  • Associate's degree in Tool & Die Making or related field
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software for tool design
  • Knowledge of CNC machining and programming
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision
  • Proficiency in machining and metalworking techniques
  • Strong knowledge of tool and die design principles
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
