• Create user-centered designs by considering personas, data, customer feedback, user research and technical constraints/opportunities.
• Build user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives.
• Relentlessly simplify and distill complex processes into intuitive and elegant UI.
• Establish and maintain detailed user-interface patterns and specifications—working closely with product and engineering to see your design through to deployment.
• Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
• Improve design patterns, standards, methods, and processes.
• Work closely with engineering to effectively incorporate capabilities and constraints of the technology stack.
• Apply best design practices to arrive at the right customer outcome.

We now have 5,000+ builder customer teams across AWS, Alexa, Payroll, Builder Tools, MyHR, A to Z, Clarity, GREF, Workplace Health & Safety, Time and Attendance, and more – over 75% of them are outside of People Experience & Technology (PXT). Our 1P data services offer real-time APIs and updates, powering vital end-user tools like Phone Tool (1,100+ page views per minute and 50M+ per month), Chime (800K+ calls per workday), Slack (350k+ employees and contingent workers using per workday), facilities badge access (95k+ salaried employees currently swipe in/out of their building each work day), LDAP, internal systems access, payroll, and more.
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
