Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, this role involves responsibilities for new product introduction and process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support a metals manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Define, Implement and evaluate the sheet metal manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.
- Prepare justification, purchase, and implement capital equipment for production.
- Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Interface with the production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- RJG certification required
- Experience in Bending metals or similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.
- Data management MiniTab, Excel (pivot tables).
- Knowledge in automotive industries and NPI process.
- English communication skills (verbal and Written).
