You’ll also be able to experiment with new possibilities, take risks, and collaborate with remarkable people.The Broadcast Network Engineer candidate will be responsible for supporting, designing and configuring connectivity across complex IP networks that drive live production across multiple sports properties in North America (Thursday Night Football, NWSL, Monday Night Hockey in Canada and NASCAR.) Duties will include responsibilities for productions that are studio and remote based.Key job responsibilities
-Responsible for the support and design of network infrastructure to support live production for studio as well as remote based production.
-Configuration of network hardware needed for video/audio/data feeds for monitoring purposes.
-Create documentation of all workflows and processes. Deploy all software and hardware updates to sustain network health and function.
-Support IP based Global Communications platform – troubleshoot all issues prior to air as well as triage live issues that may arise.-Work with Head of Technical Operations to help develop annual budgets for capital and operational expense.
-Travel as needed to support live production (on site)
-Minimum of 5 - 8 years of live broadcast experience-Experience with project management along with clear understanding of operational costs-Ability to dive deep and solve complex problems as well as the skill to set up mechanisms to ensure successful replication and scalability of all technical workflows-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
-Clear communication skills – both in written and verbal form – to keep management informed of issues and concerns-Experience in a fast paced start up environment with execution of work initiatives within tight deadlines and budgets.
