Job Summary:
Proactively conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on process, production, and/or facility equipment to maximize uptime and contribute to the accomplishment of departmental, organizational, and plant KPIs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with all safe and quality working procedures /requirements stipulated by the company.
Escalate any unsafe act, condition, and process deviation promptly.
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on the process, production or and facility/utility equipment and environment to maintain them in accordance with their validated state in sequential order without omission.
Adhere to all company policies and regulations. In addition, this position requires a commitment to support occasional overtime as needed to meet project timelines or operational demands. .
Execute all maintenance-related activities according to scheduled timelines during plant shutdowns.
Equipment Tech: Able to execute preventive maintenance (PM) independently. Have the capability to diagnose, service & rectify fault up to component level & familiar with at least 3 out of the 5-production department equipment's which need to include Molding & Compounding.
Fabricator: Able to perform arc welding, TIG, gas cutting, plasma cutting with acceptable quality and productivity.
Facility Tech: Able to independently execute PM, perform start/stop/switch over & basic troubleshooting for all major facility systems which include but not limited to: Water treatment systems (LF & Std), Boiler, Cooling Tower, Chiller, Air compressor system, Fire Protection system, Cleanroom system and Air- & water-cooled A/C system
Train and guide T1 Technicians according to specified coaching methodology, assess trainees’ performance, and provide constructive to trainee for improvements.
Independently execute ad-hoc task like CAPA execution, equipment installation, relocation, decommissioning, minor modification.
Maintain accurate workorder records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and hours spent in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned, relative to the position and company requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
Nitec, Higher Nitec or other technical trade certificate.
3 to 5 years related work experience.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Equipment Tech:
Good Mechanical knowledge include pneumatic and hydraulic. (Interpret schematic)
Good Electrical knowledge (415V, 230V, 24V, 12V, Main Circuit, Control Circuit).
Fabricator:
Good fabrication skill (arc welding, TIG, gas cutting, plasma cutting).
Facility Tech:
Good air-con and HVAC knowledge.
Good PW & WFI system knowledge.
Good facility/ utility knowledge (boiler, air compressor, chiller, cleanroom).
Able to interpret electrical single line drawing.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and CMMS.
Possess Work @ Height Cert. and Rigger & Signalman tasks.
Proficiency in workplace English for work applications and interfaces.
Able to safely operate PIT.
Physical and Travel Requirements
None: No travel required.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
20/30 Vision minimum, at near and/or far with at least one eye with or without corrective lenses and no color deficiency.
Able to work in challenging environment characterized by heat and dust.
Physical endurance, flexibility, and hearing ability are required to perform task effectively.
Able to safely operate power tools like, grinding tools, drilling tools, etc.
Able to perform shift work based on business needs.
Willing to support execution of critical tasks beyond normal working hours should the need arise.
Ability to learn and adopt to changes introduced by the organization with regards to equipment's, tools, technologies, and concepts.
Team player and possess positive work attitude.
Manage multitasking and task prioritization effectively.
Conduct training with confidence, patience, empathy, and motivation.
